What is Star Dogs?

Star Dogs has recently had to restructure due to health reasons.

I’m now offering a “small intimate” dog care environment for a select few dogs that are essentially “non lead pullers/tuggers”.

There are so many terrific dogs out there who are learning their walking skills or are just so full of that amazing excitement and energy but due to a recent Spinal Injury, I can only enjoy the company of calmer dogs or maybe a little older, larger or small, just those that are not likely to bowl me over.

Dogs will enjoy a full day of company, adventure and activities up at the farm so don’t leave your dog home alone, when you both can have a busy fun day.

The farm sits on over 30 acres of land just outside Queenstown. With multiple areas fully deer and rabbit fenced, the farm allows dogs to enjoy an amazing off lead experience in a safe environment. The Star Dogs vehicle will pick your bestie up from home and return them at the end of their farm trip.

How It Works

Due to the small numbers I will be playing with, pickups and drop-offs can be more flexible, so give me a call ‘Lets Chat’ and see if I can assist with your schedule.

On arrival at farm they get to walk, sniff and run about (if desired) then when required some rest and relaxation in one of our rest zones. Basically I’ll take the cue from the dogs as to what they would like to do, play fetch, hide n seek, explore new areas of the property, then its back home for hugs and a big sleep.

All dogs need to be comfortable in each others company and look forward to meeting up with their best friends on a weekly basis.

Farm Facilities

The Farm offers multiply areas with equipment to play on, in and around. The Maple Grove wooded area is for sniffing and exploring the trees and enjoying a relaxing space. The big paddocks for running, racing and enjoying the freedom of being able to stretch the legs if needed. The agility equipment is set up and the play ground features are there to enjoy. We also have the doggy swimming pool to cool off in the summer heat. Smaller paddocks and inside areas for the dogs wanting to chill out, warm up and relax.

Paddock Hire

Paddocks can be made available on a case by case basis for training and fun. All prior Star Dogs are welcome to come and have a run around – give me a call to arrange a time.

All dogs will need to have their humans fill out the enrolment forms, provide vaccination history, sign the wavier and participate in a meet and greet before their first day

Incessant barking or unfriendly behaviour towards other dogs or humans can not be tolerated. If unwanted behaviours continue Star Dogs may not be the right fit

All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations including kennel cough to be able to attend Star Dog Farm Adventures
